Important Ordering Information

Pickup Details

Plants will not be ready for pick up until MAY 22ND. You will receive notification when your plants are ready, and you have 48 hours to collect them from the farm. Remember, failure to pick up within this time frame is not the responsibility of Purple Haven.

Pricing and Availability

All our plants are housed in 4-inch pots, priced at $6.50 each, making them an affordable choice for your garden.

Lavender Varieties Available

Angustifolia Varieties (English Lavender)

The Angustifolias are perfect for our Ontario climate. They begin budding by mid-June, with blooms lasting into July. These varieties are ideal for cut/dried flowers, cooking, and potpourri.

Munstead:

Light purple flowers, usable in cooking, maturing at 12 inches in height with a spread of 12 to 18 inches.

Hidcote:

Deeper purple flowers, maturing at 12-18 inches tall and spreading 18 inches wide.

Lavandula x intermedia (Lavandin)

Grosso: A popular choice in Ontario, blooming from late June into August. It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds, featuring deep violet flowers on long stems, ideal for cut/dried arrangements. Matures at 24 inches high with an 18-24 inch spread.
