PRE ORDER

Before ordering, please read:

1. We do not ship plants
2. You must pre-pay in full for your plants at time of ordering.
3. We will send you a reminder when the plants are ready for pickup 

You will be able to purchase plants by just coming to the Store or  Farmers Markets after May 22th. However, our quantities are limited and we recommend pre ordering to insure you get what you want.  

Special plant orders (pre orders)  are orders containing plants not held in regular stock and is ordered at the specific request of the customer. As such, special orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged under any circumstances 72 hours after processing. Customers are required to pay the balance of the purchase price when order is placed, or it will not be processed. Once balance is paid in full, we will process your plant order in put into production.  You will be notified to pick up plants on or around May 22. You have 48 hours to pick up plants from the farm. Customer's failure to pick up plants after the 48 hours will not be the responsibility of Purple Haven to maintain and keep them healthy.

WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON OUR PLANTS
WE DO NOT REPLACE PLANTS.  
PICKING UP PLANTS IS YOUR RESPONSIBLITY.  PLANTS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF NOTIFICATION.  

Plants will not be ready for pick up till MAY 22ND.

Angustifolia Varieties More commonly known as English Lavender
Angustifolias are the hardiest for our Ontario climate.  Buds by mid-June and the flowers bloom from late June well into July.  English lavenders best for cut/dried flowers, cooking (most varieties) and they can also be used in potpourri and sachets.

We have two varieties for sale at this time
 

Munstead: The flowers are light purple in colour. This variety can be used in   cooking. At maturity the height is 12 inches and the spreads between 12 and 18 inches.

Hidcote: The flowers are a deeper purple than Munstead.
At maturity the height is 12-18 inches and the spread is 18 inches.

 

Lavandula x intermedia, or Lavandin,   

 

Grosso: Popular for this part of Ontario. lavender buds by mid June and flowers bloom from late June into August. Perfect plant for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.

The flowers are deep violet in colour. Long stems great for cut/dry flowers, potpourri and sachets. Very fragrant

At maturity the height is 24 inches and the spread is 18-24 inches
